Registry configuration editor - scconfig

The scconfig program described here is for use with Windows software only. On other platforms, e.g. UNIX and Linux, scconfig is a character-based program. The user is prompted to enter the required values. However, much of the information here about the Windows version of scconfig is still helpful, as it includes details about the data to be entered which may be relevant on all platforms.

This program is for the following purposes:

1	Setting or changing the serial number and activation key. This must be done when Sculptor is first installed. Subsequent versions can be installed without requiring changes to these values.
2	Setting the current version number for the system and/or current user.
3	Setting or changing variables in the registry for the system and/or current user.
4	Registering the correct extensions to the run time interpreters.
