Servers - troubleshooting

Connections to kfserver are being refused but ping works.

This is usually caused by a firewall. Ensure that port 5343 is open for TCP traffic on both the client and the server or, if you have set a different port for kfserver in the “services” file, make sure that port is open. See Sockets.
