File Manager - the output window
When one of the options on the Keyed file menu is selected, a window opens enabling the selection of secondary indexes and the specification of program options. This window includes a button that launches the keyed file utility program associated with the menu option.
A new window is opened, containing a table which displays the messages output by the utility. A line containing the message “Finished” appears at the end and indicates that the process is complete. This line is displayed even if all other messages were suppressed.
The following options are now available:
Save to file |
Save the output to a text file. The usual Save File dialog opens for the user to select a file name. |
Print the output. A standard Print dialog opens. |

Close |
Close the output window. The previous window is also closed, so that the main window is displayed. |
