The network name of the host computer on which the program is running. The actual length of sys.HostName is set to the length of the text string it references.
Note
The network address is stored in sys.IPAddress.
In sagew and srepw, obsolescent versions of the run time interpreters sagewc and srepwc, this variable has a null value.
