Data dictionary editor - File and main index properties
The fields displayed at the top of the main screen are read-only properties relating to the data dictionary as a whole and to its main index.
Fields |
The total number of fields, including both key and data. |
Key fields |
The number of key fields. |
Key length |
The total size in bytes of the key fields. This must be within the range 1-195 bytes. |
Record length |
The total size in bytes of all fields. This must be within the range 4-32767 bytes. |
Indexes |
The number of secondary indexes. |
The File Info button opens a window containing the following file properties, which are optional free text relating to the file and can be used for any purpose.
